Hey, I had a co worker come into my office today and he dropped this turbo on my desk and asked me if i could use it on a rotary engine. Can anyone tell me if this is suited to a rotary and what kind of porting it works best with.
Right now I have a old school 13b in an Rx-4 that has nothing hanging out by the exhaust ports.... Maybe this would fit just nice.

Cold side has A/R 60 stamped on it
Hot side has 84 R stamped on it

Any info on this turbo and what it is good for would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks

take the housings off and measure the inducer and exducer of both wheels and post that up, that will better help on what size it is.

largest and smallest, 2 readings on each fan set.

i'm sure it will work just fine regardless. the turbine housing is proportional for a rotary engine.

Will work for around 300rwhp based on the pictures..

So no, not really worth it once you figure all the time making everything else fit...

if it was v-band flange it would be easier to switch out if you want something bigger later on.
