Garrett Releases GTX version of GT40/88R

Garrett just released a new turbo at sema show. The GTX40/88R. There is an article about it with all of its specs and compressor map here:

Garrett releases new Turbo GTX40/88R with Billet wheel

Turbo would be AWESOME on a 13b. Will it out perform a 6466? Questionable at best. I believe the new GTX40R would perform better bellow 25 psi but after that the 6466 would take it.

Now on a rotary I think the GTX40/88R is the better option than the 6466 because its larger turbine wheel, and we know how rotaries want to breathe.

I would tend to agree, the 11 blade wheels start to get in the way at a certain point.

Never been a big fan of the 68mm wheel.
