It'll fit with mods to the water pump and radiator relocation. You do have to have a custom exhaust mani made.

Hey Ernie, I'm excited to hear @ how these billet compressors work hurry up!

The supra guys arent seeing any increase over the GT wheel....they only went up to 30psi though.

I hope the rotary brings out the good in this turbo

ive been doing alot of research on those garrett gtx turbos and honestly, unless your running big amounts of boost (28 & up) your not really going to see a big difference. The gtx makes 10-20more hp in the 20-28lbs range. Now once you get to the 35-40lbs of boost then the gtx will flow a shitload more than the basic ball bearing turbo it replaces

My best friend has a Supra and had the same setup i did. He switched and made 72rwhp more at 30psi and a much broader powerband.

/\ and just guess how much more power he would get if the boost was at 35lbs. were talking about at least 140hp more. meaning for the 35r guys & there 15lbs of boost It would be a waste of time forthem.

BTW before i retune the car im going to put the gt4508 wheel in the GT4202 and well see how much it really makes.

Ill be awaiting your dyno results (hopefully without a BOOM!!!)

Sorry, Howard. Thought ya knew. Everything went great. So good in fact, I won the last NSCRA race at MIR with my best et of 9.79@142mph.
The car dyno'ed about 40rwhp more at 30psi then the 74mm GT42R. It spools about 400rpms faster too. I think over 32psi, this thing is gonna really shine. Gonna see this coming weekend at the Pan American Nationals. Also I used to use straight meth injection. This was with nothing at all. Just turbo!

We are close, but we've just been too busy with customer's cars. We are in the middle of a 2JZ with a GTX42 also..

Correct. The old one was the GT42R with the 74mm compressor 1.01 a/r
New one is the GTX42R with the 71mm compressor (billet).

Hmmm, so you actually lost 3mm on the compressor, took off the meth, and gained 40whp and quicker spool at only 30 psi! I guess the doubtful rumors are squashed. Congrats on your win. I'm guessing you might have some traction issues in your future?

Thanks, but no traction issues. Just lower the tire pressure a bit more Guys are making alot more power then me and can hook. Im just a little fish compared to the guys at the pan ams. It was very cool to win the true street class though. Took out a few supras along the way too
Here is the video of the finals.
