If the cover has enough material, it can be machined to fit. I know guys that use BW covers with Garrett wheels.

Its only a matter of time, I have sold several. I don't know if someone mentioned it, but I heard from Garrett that by early summer the billet Gt35R will be out. The wheels are going in for testing next month....

Thats good to hear. I heard it was going to be longer, maybe 6-12 months.

Not when you are at 800whp+ with a turbo that including all the modifications you've done to it (housing and 80mm option) amounts to around half of that...why change what isn't broke???

You can do 1000+whp on a GT4788 or GT4718 (same turbo, different name) which is available in journal bearing and it will still spool pretty quickly on a ported 20B and you can get it for under 2k in some instances.

My friend in PR has 1180+whp on a GT5593R or 91R bb turbo, cant remember, and at 26psi. so a GT4788 should do the job fine imo.

I'm just saying, you can reach your goals with half the money if you really want to...if you want the billet Garrett then great but I believe its doable for less. You could even go for one of the 87mm compressor BW which is basically the turbo you have now with a different compressor cover and a 87mm compressor. Don't know where to get it but I've seen them.
