He's saying it spools like the classic Garrett GT35 from his knowledge, but obviously it can be more complicated than that. Since you are in Japan the Mitsubishi based turbos are much more common I guess
its kind of a pity, the Mitsubishi turbos have a lot of compressor and turbine options
they have actually had a few updates along the way too, in 2024 they got billet wheels

How does that turbo spool?
I’m trying to figure out if something is wrong with my turbo, since boost doesn’t peak until fairly high in the powerband.
my data set is kind of small, but maybe its helpful. i like to note when the thing hits 7psi/0.5kg, because all the stock cars will hit that, so it works for everyone, and then some go further
a stock FC with a stock S5 turbo, and big exhaust, will hit 7psi at about 2500rpm, go to about 8ish in the midrange, and be a little under 7psi at redline
a stock FD will hit 7psi around 2000rpm, then like 9.5/7kg shortly after that, and then at redline its falling off. they all were a little different, and then we modded them too
my FC with an HKS Sport turbo, which is a slightly smaller compressor, but bigger turbine than your TD06, i get 7psi by 1800rpm, 13psi/0.9kg at 4000rpm, and then its down around 10psi/0.7kg at 7000rpm.
i'm not running the boost solenoid yet, and if i take out the silencer it hits 0.9 faster.
so i guess i'm saying that i would expect to see 0.7kg/10psi between 3200-3800rpm, it does depend a lot on your exhaust (i have a huge FEED exhaust), and some other stuff.
i spent some time putting an old boost gauge in various places looking for pressure drops, and finding them, and then doing something about it.

I can't seem to find any compressor maps to make a comparison.
I have no problem quickly getting to 0.8 kg (actually a bit more) when the car is cold, but once it's hot, I swear I am not hitting peak boost (inconsistent, but usually not quite 0.7) until rather high in the powerband.
I think I just have an issue with my wastegate. It's probably leaking exhaust once it gets hot.
When you take the valve seat (fire ring) off, the valve doesn't appear to be perfectly centered in the hole.
Though it does hot water (literally) when it's bolted together and cold.
I called Greddy, and they think my symptoms are probably heat expansion and wear causing it to leak.
I am going to send it to them for an overhaul sometime this winter. Apparently that's a thing you can do. Haha.
