Fuel rails, Parralel, or series High HP

I thought all the high HP Rotaries were running parralel rails. However I just got off the phone with a SoCal Tuner who does VERY high output rotaries(600+ sandrails), and he runs the lines in series, but backwards. let me explain, He typically runs a -8 from the pump to the secondary rail, followed by a -6 to the primary, and then an FPD Tee'd into the line before heading to the FPR. Thoughts? I can do either, but since this guy may be tuning my car, I thought I'd get some opininons(backed up with data, or good empiricle(sp?) evidence of course). I am not sure see any downside to either, and Mazda did set up the stock system to run in series, so...
It would seem, that with an FPD, and enough fuel, there is little difference, other than less plumbing in series. It also allows the use of a single FPD saving ~125.00( not that +/- 100.00 at this point makes alot of difference LOL

On a side note do Seimens top feeds fit the stock primary FC rail?

Carl, I don't think it really matters.
Some claim a pressure drop or pressure fluctuation after leaving the first rail to the second and that is why they choose to run them in parallel.

Red-RX7's 650 rwhp 3 rotor runs them in series and afaik doesn't have any issues and it even appears from the photo he runs to the primary fuel rail first.

Certainly running them in series is far less plumbing which simplifies things and that is always an advantage.

fwiw, I run mine in parallel and have no issues.

I don't know if this applies but the higher HP cars that I have in some of my FI books, running dual injection systems run the system's in series We are talking 2400hp car here. So I am pretty sure it is a safe Bet that it would work well on Rotaries as well.

Well, I suppose, enough fuel is enough fuel... We'll see what kid of a mood I am in on the day of the install(this weekend if anyone is bored, and wants to help out 707-696-2705). I just got off the phone with another guy, and he not only runs these Super high output 13BTs in series, he retains the stock FPD....(T'd in of course)
