To my knowledge, yes. I figured I'd rather be safe than sorry by doing the new pump, rewire, and fuel filter.

Your problem was probably the fuel pump wiring imo.

Regardless, the fuel pump I was running was only rated for 500BHP, which I am WELL over.

Don't worry, its all fixed now so all is good. I might change back to the aeromotive 340 from my A1000. I don't like the fact that I can't go below 1/3 - 1/2 tank at the track where I used to be able to run to empty line (literally, thanks to fuel cover). Aeromotive suggested ways to fix it but it'll just be easier to go back to an intank pump. I was just passing the limits of the Denso so it should be good.

Right...This in tank pump seems to do the job perfectly, so I'm glad I went with it!

I agree. Granted the old pump wasn't rated for the power level you were at, but it was apparently doing just fine initially. A rewire will add a considerable amount of extra fuel. It's also easy to do. Regarding your injectors, if they start getting maxed out, a simple solution is to raise base pressure. I run 50 psi base pressure with 550/1680 and dual stock fuel pumps. My duty went to 90% when pushing 26 psi out of a masterpower t70. Here's a fuel calculator that let's you play with different numbers to see the effect on fuel, power, pump, injector etc. http://www.wannaspeed.com/index.php?main_page=page&id=19&chapter=1

Good information, thanks! Changing out the pump may have been unnecessary, but I'd rather err on the side of caution. Besides, now I have more fuel should I decide to raise the boost in the future.
