Downpipe

Hey all.. I'm currently building a Turbo II with a bullseye S362 billet .91 AR.

The engine is almost all put together except I'm missing an exhaust... Can some one help me out and point me in the right direction??

I was looking at using the APEXI downpipe, and then fabbing an exhaust off of that... however I'm not sure if it's the right size.

Thanks!

Subscribing to this thread as I am in the same boat as you. I am gonna run a full-race twin scroll manifold with a bg efr9180 and I want to run 4 inch exhaust from the turbo back. So I would like to know what my options are here in the ny, nj, pa area. Geoff from full-race recommended Evans tuning in PA but I checked him out and he deals with hondas so I'm not crazy about that idea. Will be checking up to see what everyone has to say. Good luck to the op with his car.

Im not sure if this will help but i just did a downpipe for my turbo setup on my 12a. the easiest way i found to do it is but a junk 02 housing that will fit your application and cut the flange off. then weld the pipe size you want to the exhaust and cut a hole for the wastegate then use a piece of metal and wrap it onto the pipe for your waste gate. mine took a few hours to make but it came out pretty well.

What turbo were you using though? Sounds like an internally gated Mitsubishi turbo which is going to be different from a larger Borg Warner.

The OP is going to have to piece something together. That's what I did and that's what most guys do with custom setups. Start looking through all the flanges and bends at places like www.atpturbo.com and www.vibrantperformance.com

Thanks for the responce! I will be running an external TIAL wastegate so this looks llike my best option. Thanks for the tip!
