I tell you what, when I get my car dyno'd this weekend (still crossing my fingers it's going to be this weekend) I'll post the results as I will not leave that shop until it hits 500rwhp *knocks on wood*

I will also be running a boost-a-pump, but I would like a pump that would do its job without it, and then improve from there.

Also, i prefer a single in-tank pump.
Supra TT fuel or a Bosch 044 pump will do

Check out my setup running OEM intank pump to fill up the catchtank and dual Bosch 044pumps. Not even close to the fuel limit with my power output.

There are a few options for 500HP. We have done one bosch 044 in the tank. You can also run dual walbro, nippondenso or Bosch pumps in the tank.

Dual pump assemblies http://www.rx7store.net/category_s/474.htm

I have never used a boost-a-pump on an RX-7 but have it on my Vette and it works well.

554 to be exact on stock lines and fuel filter but thats not to say I recommend that type of setup.

Anyone had experience with the bosch 040 ? I believe it's basically an 044 with a mesh filter on the bottom of it for an in tank setup (as opposed to the 044 which is inline, but everyone puts a filter on the one end and mounts it in tank)

I have one kicking around and I'm not sure whether to install it or not.

Rofl that is freakin' insane. You are always proving things that "can't" be done. I like that

edit: update on mine. Looks like I'll be going this weekend instead of last. I'll let you guys know the results.

Bosch 044 and Supra pump have about thesame capacity with the exception that the Bosch 044 flow rate is more stable at full throttle/load

You could put a set of jumping cables and see if it would get it turning

Yeah... when I am aiming at 450 maximum... I think that setup is a tad on the overkill side lol.

I am running Duel pumps a supra and a walbro pump. The install really is not that complicated. It works just fine for 500hp
