where is the fuel pump located on a 94 FD?? i have to install my new pump and i have no idea where to look. thanks for the help.

It is in the tank... if you take the carpet out of the back of your FD, there will be a white plastic cover to on screw, it will be on the drivers side in the back, it is sorta like a big oval. If you take that off it will give you a straight shot at the fuel tank. And you will have to unscrew the the oval thing on the fuel tank, and the pump will pull right out. I hope thats clear enough

 

Also, do yourself a favor and use an impact driver to loosen the screws (6) on top of the tank. These screws are soft and corrode, becoming VERY easy to strip with a phillips head screwdriver. You really do not want to try and get vise grips down there to remove a buggered screw.
