Question Fuel Lines Cost?

How much would it cost to upgrade the fuel lines on an FD? I upgraded my fuel pump, and inj, but now I'm looking to upgrade the lines. This will be done by a professional, using Earl's fittings. I'm aware that the FD lines are good up to 500hp. I did a search and couldn't find the total cost, so any help would be appreciated.

I attached my fuel system costs... This was for just about everything... Be prepared... I still cringe when I look at it...

I paid $750 - $800, not including fuel rail, injectors, filter or pump. I used Aeroquip stuff with braided kevlar lines:

I think Ive spent over $1100 on mine, Twin in tank pumps, braided lines from tank to each rail, aftermarket rails, injectors, clips, regulator etc.

Jay,
You should be able to get it done using -6 feed and return lines and get in at about $500

Thanks guys I had a feeling it would be around $700, but wasn't too sure.

ModRX7...very sweet pic. I can never do that type of setup on my FD, it's too dangerous in New York. Everyone drives like ******** out here.

GQMracerx7 I got a very similiar setup using all aeromotive\ aeroqip components -12-10-8 lines. I spent close to 2,000 for everything.

MODrx7 my pump is in the same spot with a custom sump but I have two filters on each side, just to be safe..

Do it once that way you never have to again..

modrx7,

How 'bout the pump noise!? Is yours LOUD? Mine is louder than the exhaust at idle with a dp, resonator, and a PFS cat-back. I have the pump mounted on the opp side of the tank on the subframe. I'm thinking of using a rubber pad as a dampener to isolate it a little and hopefully quiet it a bit.

Do you have much time on your setup? Do you have the Fuel Pump Controller? I don't have much time on my setup (after finishing the fuel setup I started a single install) and was just curious about the pump during idle conditions getting the fuel too hot.

Cheers,
Grant

i have the same pump, mine is located behind the driver side wheel well. i got rid of the stock tank and run a fuel cell now, there is plenty of room under there to keep it cool. the pump is pretty loud, i can definetely hear it when i turn the battery on, it's nice because you can hear it pumping the fuel and when it starts getting a good flow...i can't hear **** when the car is running though.
