fitment of other turbos on manifolds

I currently have the XS engineering t04e single turbo kit and was wanting to go with something like the apex'i rx6 or a ball bearing turbo, and was wondering if i could still use my manifold i have currently, saving me from having to buy a full kit again.

ie: would the rx6 turbocharger only fit on the HKS manifold that came with the XS kit? or maybe even a garrett GT35R?

thx in advance.

Your T04E has simular response and power as the Apexi Rx6. It's a waste of money to go that route, not to mention buying just the turbo alone will be difficult and expensive unless you found a deal on a used one. And no, it won't fit your manifold either. It runs a undivided t3 style foot print were your T04E is a T4. Even a GT35R will have simular spool to your T04E. If you want quicker spool, get a ballbearing center for your current turbo, and or run a smaller turbine A/R. Both option would be cheaper then a rx6 or gt35r. If you want simular spool with more power potentual, go with the GT35R with a divided turbine in a .8 A/R.
