Finally ran the 617rwhp RX-7........

.......out to the grocery store 2 nights ago. She ran great. Who says that high hp RX-7s can't be driven around town. It is actually my daily driver as of right now. A lady ran a red light on my way to work this morning and totaled my 311,000 mile 1993 Honda Accord daily driver.

That is all.

Not yet. C16 is a little hard to find around here, but I've found a supplier not too far from me, and he is out right now. Probably another week or so. Then, I should be able to run it.

Very true, but alot of people think that high hp cars(especially RX-7s) are just trailered everywhere. Not here.

Although not in the 600 rwhp club, I was daily driving my 400 rwhp RX for the last two weeks all over. Ran perfectly except it does smell bad and suck gas

Mike, that might have more to do with the heat range than the tuning.

I had the BUR9EQ's all the way around but put the B10EGV's in the leading since the 9's all the way around are supposed to be only good to 400hp. What heat range do you think I should be at? I guess I could always run 9's when driving on street and turn down boost, and only use the 10's for drag racing.

good stuff. really good stuff, but considering what happened to your beater, you must cringe a little everytime you drive the Rx-7 out for mundane ****, eh? still nice to see you post this though.

If it's tuned for c16, I don't see a problem. As expensive as C16 is, I don't want to even think what VP Import is.
