i would use a front mount with a big turbo like that, thats just me though. looks good, i hope you get the numbers your looking for. if you find out that it isnt a big enough intercooler and want cooler intake temps, you could possibly use a water injection system. much cheaper then converting to front mount

It is a kit. I only race the car now, so I am thinking the smic will work for short bursts down the track. I hope to achieve around 500 rwhp at 20+ psi. A fmic in in the plans though. Along with back halfing the car.

Ray Wilson ran the same type of setup making around 650whp with the same intercooler. You should be fine.

Bring it up to the meet this sunday outside DC.

What mods are you running? Fuel and such. I see your fpr, are you running a cosmo/supra pump, parallel pumps, etc.

I am running all bolt ons, pineapple large port, 850 1600 injectors, and using a walbro on the stock circut, and stock pump directly hooked to battery with switch and fuse. I only need to run the stock pump at the track.

you should run both fuel pumps all the time as the larger volume diffrence will cause your fuel pressure to rise some and cause tunning issues and it's safer to have all the fuel you need all the time so you don't make that mistake of accidently forgetting to switch on the extra pump and pooof!...

No need, people have put out over 600 rwhp on similar setups.
Looks like a sick setup! When are you get some dyno numbers? Be sure to update us on what kind of numbers it puts down!

if that motor had a small streetport and a one cat, will it ever pass smog?? i think it can if you lower the boost to 4-6psi. i am getting the same setup soon and would like to know how the turbo is and how laggy it is.

I could have sworn I have video of Rays car at the track and him adding Ice to the Liquid to Air IC.

Great rule of thumb..... If you have to ask how laggy it is, single turbo probably isnt for you. My t78 spools around 3500-4000

Well tried to dyno it, but the PFC isn't working out for me. Boostin right off the scale. Was able to make 435 rwhp at 6200. Installing haltech as we speak. Should be looking around 530 to 550 rwhp.

You can add a 3 bar map and change the setting so it will read it. I did.
