Finally installed my GT40R
Well, finally got around to finishing up my install of my gt40r. After 4 hurricanes, 2 stripped out holes, broken tap inside motor, assorted power outages...Its alive...now I need to get rid of those pesky 850 secondary injectors and get my fuel system installed already...geesh pic:

It was actually from my front mount to the stock twins, I clocked the compressor housing a little bit and the piping fit!! I got real lucky in that department ...Any performance shop that welds should be able to do it.

Sean, do you have a very tight radius 2 1/2 staineless 90. My turbo to IC pipe is stainless. I want to weld the tight radius 90 to the existing pipe and then use a hump hose connector to attach to the comppressor They make very low profile ones. This should work and then I can get rid of the silicone 90 that I have at pressent. I haven't been running boost yet so the silicone 90 is ok.

Sean, I am aware of this(you having the piping), I found a few sites online, that sell the piping for 23-28 bucks depending on the bend, and with me going to school and only making 150-180 bucks a week, I gotta cut costs where ever I can.

damn that was quick. I did not want to weld to the compressor cover. I have a pipe that goes right to the compressor that is made of stainless. I bought a silicone 90 to drop onto the compressor outlet. I do not want to keep this for long term. I need a stainless 90 that is tight raius to weld to the pipe and then I can use a hump hose connector to clamp to the compressor outlet. Other wise I have to weld the aluminum 90 to the compressor outlet and then use the coupler to connect to the stainless pipe. this will work, but I would like to go the other route first.

A quick question. Think my greddy type S will hold up with this turbo? I see a lot of you guys running a type R. Another one..did anyone get a 4 inch hose clamp for the filter with the kit? Sean also, any luck with those injector clips?

I installed a second type S close to the compressor after getting pretty bad compressor surge with just the one type S installed in the elbow....
Works pretty well now - still get a little surge when I lift off the throttle lightly after boosting...

Yea....noticed around 8-10 psi the turbo flows a ton more air then the stockers @ 15 psi...Blowoff valve is definately next in line for a change.

sk8world what kind of battery is that? I need to get a mini like that. I cant run at the track till I either get a cutoff switch and a battery box. Or get a stock mount or near stock mount battery that will fit...I really dont want to drill a hole in my rear bumper.

Nope...personally Id rather have a track time, dynos vary FAR too much to get a 100% gauge on power..Im still on my 4x 850cc injectors...only running 10 lbs but it pulls WAY harder then the stockers did at 15 lbs...and I was making 330-340whp on my old set up.
