A few questions about which single turbo to use??

I found this one on ebay and want to know if it is big enough for the car.

"This is a Airesearch T04 Turbocharger. It has a T3 split housing exhaust for fast spool time. It has a TO4 front for high boost. Fins spin peferect and does free wheel. There is very little shaft play which is normal with the oil drained. It has a 1.00 exhaust A/R. Not sure on the compressor side, theres no markings."

Heres the link to it on ebay

Don't bother with it

You would be better off buying a "kit" specifically made for an FD. Because if you buy that turbo off Ebay, you'll have to "find" or "fab" all the other parts that are needed in order to get that sucker to work. You'll need custom downpipe, exhaust manifold, intakes etc....

Check out the turbo upgrade kits from the rx7store. They come with more than just the "snail".

I found a manifold that bolts up to the T04 on ebay as well.

I was thinking this combo might work.
As far as down pipe and intercooler piping I can fab that at work.I work at a machine shop for harley davidson.I was just curious as to wether or not the turbo itself was large enough to support 400hp? Besides have you seen the prices of the turbo kits? They are insane!!!Unless you know someone selling a complete kit for around $1200 or so..........thats about my limit with the budget I'm on right now.

you would have to get an adapter plate because that manifold has a t4 flange, while the turbo has a t3 flange.
