a few pictures of my custom GT35/40 manni

My good friend that owns a performance shop here in the Little Rock area is building it for me. The manifold is not finished yet but you can get a good idea.

I realize that it is not a perfect design, but I think it is going to work well for me.

let me know what y'all think

Looks good so far. The flange looks different to me for some reason. It may be that I'm just really tired thanx to all these broke azz planes that have landed here the past couple of dayz. Either way, it looks good bro. Please keep us updated and let me know if you are using a different style flange than the normal T3 type. Laterz.

Looks pretty good, The flange is the T3 flange for the GT series thats why it looks odd...
It seems alot of people don't mind making the gases turn 180 deg towards the wastegage, I guess with a big enoug wastegate almost any design would work though..
I recently saw a whole bunch of different manifold designs, for 13b's, it seems the custom made ones all try and keep the runners as straigt as possible with the amount of turns kept to an absolute minimum, but the mass production ones all have alot of bends in them, mostly to accomodate the airpump I would think..
But that one looks good and heavy and should hold up well..Max

Thanks for the compliments guys

It's made with 125 thousands wall 308 stainless, nice and thick. I think it will hold up well over time.

Max, the flange is a normal T3 as far as know. What is the difference in a normal T3 flange and a T3 flange for a GT35/40?

I think the bends in all of the mass produced ones are for a better entry into the hot side of a turbo. Heck, I don't know. I'm learning more everyday

Swordfish, it's Purdy posing with the manifold. If you have some strange desire to see a more revealing picture, check out my thread on LRRS in the Garage. BTW, I would bet you are on at least a 100 different forums, aren't you! Where do you find the time, you internet *****!
