FC Turbo swap
Im new to the RX-7 world, and tuning in general... What is the best turbo to swap out the stock turbo in a FC (i have an 87 turbo II) I want more boost! What other parts do i need besides the actual turbo...is there anything that would fit on the stock manifold? Where can i get a manifold that i could use for an aftermarket turbo?
Also...I want to get a FMIC. Where can i just find piping? Or has anyone just had pipes bent? What can i do here?
Thanks a lot, and sorry for being such a moron...

there are many mods that you will need before putting a new turbo.
fuel upgrades
fmic
boost controler
stand alone
drivetrain upgrades
misc turbo parts
list goes on...
I think you should keep the stock turbo for now, until you learn more, and have maxed out your power on the stock turbo. My friend made 273whp with piggy backs(15psi).
so by just getting those mods I listed above,(assuming you have bolt ons) you will be able to create more power.

Also your choice of "best" turbo is relative to what you plan on using the car for. A turbo that is best for auto-x is not the best for road racing. etc.... something else to consider when you're ready to upgrade.
