Exhaust over-temp light

So i have a single apexi rx6 turbo and my exhaust warning light is coming on right around 800C. The other night it came on and my turbo warning light came on right around 6200rpm and caused my engine to stall for a sec, possibly cut the fuel. Can anyone tell me why it's not letting me hit full boost at higher speeds b/c of this warning. Possibly a tuning issue, maybe air/fuel ratio is off. My engine temps are solid however, never reach over 92C. Any help would definitely greatly be appreciated. Oh and the exhaust outlet for my turbo is being dumped next to the cat, could this be causing the overheat as well?

Yeah well I was asking because the powerfc uses that light for it's own purposes from what I remember.

I definitely have a Power FC. I alos got it dynoed today. I changed the plugs, and found out i have a cracked plug wire. So that was all changed which is good, but i got a disappointing 338rwhp on the car. Those RX6 turbos aren't that great unless you get an IHI

They are basically a replacement for the stock twins in terms of power. That turbo kit is the biggest waste of money if you want more power than the twins.

do some research. It's all about what kind of responce you want, what kind of power goals you are looking for etc... Lots of people have given up on the t78 and gone with gt seriese turbos because they spool better and they are a newer design. Check out a 500r or gt40r, gt42r. That turbo you have is really small and that is a pretty well known fact, next time do a little research before spending money on something you will be disapointed in.
