Exhaust manifold...is this a new one?

I was planning on running an HKS cast manifold like on my old car, but I just realized that my Tial 46mm W/G (square footprint) won't bolt up to the hks flange (rectangular footprint). So I started searching and ran across this exhaust manifold. It is more expensive than most cheaper ebay manifolds, looks nice, and tells at least the material spec's. I searched the forums and couldn't find anyone who is running it. Anyone know anything about it?

I also like that it does not come with any wastegate flange at all so I can just weld on the one for my Tial that I already have. The main thing that is throwing me off is the company's lack of grammar.

Well, looks to be built well (presuming what you recieve matches the pictures) so going by that I would say its a decent manifold. Thick flanges, the flanges also look to be machined post-welding so they should be true/flat.

Dunno what to tell you though I have no experience with that vendor.

EDIT: Only thing I don't like is that the W/G runners come back up toward the LIM. I'd prefer them to kepp their heat as far away from the motor as possible, but thats a preference thing so take it for what its worth.

The thing I am most worried about is the w/g runner design...

Looks like all the other cheap-*** SS stuff coming out of China...

There's a seller on eBay selling that "same exact product" for $499...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Exoti...spagenameZWDVW

Found another seller from Aussie selling them for US$420...
http://cgi.ebay.com/MAZDA-RX7-SERIES...QQcmdZViewItem

I swear I used to see those things being sold for under US$300 on eBay before...

Just because its off ebay doesn't mean its a crap. However you should not have high expectations on the product you buying unless it has very positive feedback and from a reputable seller. I bought my Honda B16 Turbo manifold of pfabrication.com who actually sell their products on ebay and I found them through there. Quality weld manifold with life time warranty.

Research into the product they are selling, check their feedback or even contact other buyers who bought the same product from them, ask what warranties they offer with their products. Mega $$$$ doesn't always mean quality product.

Good luck ..

The same people sell this model between 400 and 600 bucks!

I would rather buy a cheaper Ebay type and CUT the Flange off.

Your right not everything on Ebay is crap. But all the made in china manifolds that look exactly like that one are crap. If if walks and quacks like a duck...

For the price of that manifold talk to A-Spec or Turblown and get something well made that the manufacturer stands behind. Or go with the HKS and use the Tial adapter offered by ATP. http://www.atpturbo.com/Merchant2/me..._Code=ATP-FLS1
