Eliminated connectors from stock wiring harness

I have gone single turbo and elminated as much as possible from the top of the engine. The rats nest is completely gone. I have the vacuum diagram, so I know how to finish up the vacuum lines. What I am wondering is, What wiring connectors can be totally eliminated from the stock wiring harness?

Does anyone have a diagram of how the wiring harness on the top of the engine looks after they went single turbo?

I searched, using the search, then I read through all the FAQs and stickys...I can't find it listed anywhere. I definately don't want to miss anything when I put my car back together, but I also want to make the harness as simple as possible.

As always, all help is greatly appreciated!

Regards,
Brian

I would go buy an FSM if I were you. It would be a real PITA if you screwed that up.

All I did was label all the connectors that would be used. (TPS, AIT, CAS etc..) Well, the ones you needed. Then, I pulled the wiring harness, removed all the tape around the harness, and traced the non needed connectors back to the plug in, that goes into the P-FC, and removed them. Carefull not to remove somthing like the TPS, Grounds, AIT, CAS, etc. Very easy to do, just be carefull not to clip the wrong thing. CJ

That link poses some good questions.

I noticed that a lot of the connectors are the same, does the FSM describe what wires go to which sensor/solenoid? Because you can't tell just by the connector.

Ussuming this is for a 3rd gen then the FSM is on line - https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showthread.php?t=449950

I don't think that many of the "retained" connectors are interchangeable.
