I have an HKS T51R turbo kit, but want to run an EFR turbo. Had anybody purchased just the EFR Turbo and a Tial V Band Housing to use with the HKS manifold?

 

I did
the efr9180 did not fit due to the size of the 9180
I dont know if the efr8374 will

 

Any thoughts and pictures of the setup?

 

i have used Tial Housings over the years with great successes. previously on my GTX42 setup i really liked it as a product.
it is a quality piece.
as for the current setup. fitment on the flange is spot on . i had made some designs i sent to TIAL through AGP turbo to verify the fitment and it fits like a glove. keep in mind that TIAL does not offer this housing for the 74mm turbo (8374 and 9174)

fitting it on the car did not work as i liked. i even made spacers to see whether i could space the manifold out in order to make it fit. it doesn't. i could perhaps change the thickness of the spacer and turn the turbo a little to make it work but i dont have my car near by and driving 90 miles to do a test fit was a PITA
