Ebay turbo kit? PICS INSIDE I know there has been alot of talk but NOT SSautochrome
I know there has been alot of talk (mainly negative) but everyone seems to be talking about the SSautochrome kit. I assume this it the same kit, but look at the pic. Is this the same kit everyone is talking about? This one is not sold by SSautochrome it is sold by XS Power dot com.
Everyone also keeps saying how shitty SSautochrome products are, but I am here to say I have had there Downpipe, Midpipe and N1 copy catback for 2 years and absolutely no problems. Fit and finish was great!
Also, it looks likes the turbo kit comes with everything, After all that said I still am going with T-78! Anyone want to change my mind?

even if you get that kit, you still have work to do. Notice how the turbine needs to have a v-band welded on. I have heard that the wastegates are extremely unreliable but have had no personal experience with their turbo kit...

Buy this kit, there are not fitment issues like the Greddy Kit, and the parts are readily available. Plus it is an overall much nicer kit, from the dualball bearing water/oil cooled turbo, to the newest wastegate on the market. Also the Wastegate is routed back into the Downpipe, a very nice modification and it has teh air filter and has already been ceramic coated. PLUS IT CAN SHIP RIGHT AWAY NO WAITING ONCE SO EVERY... spool will also be better... overall its a better kit.

You have to weld the V-Band flange onto the exhaust side of the turbine, so that you can connect the downpipe. There is no flange there, you will also have to have the DP made.

I understand that you are knowlegably about turbos and RX7's, and I have read your post on this turbo. Making that sticky would offend me because the comments that you have made have been negative with no experience with XS power turbo (correct me if I wrong). It seems that everyone seems to be offering their opinion instead of fact.
I personaly would not buy it because I don't want to risk my engine. I would rather buy a proven product. But that doesn't mean there is not a less expensive alternative, be it this one or another.
Now I am not stupid, if this turbo kit is $700 and the Greddy, HKS, XS Eng., ect. is $3500-$4000 there should be an obvious quality difference. With that said, the only comments from people who actually have used the XS power has been fairly positive.
Before we judge it, let's just hear back from some of the real world guinea pigs
