you spend the money on a turbo.
the mani's and wg they make are good but still use descretion.

a properly braced mani that you bought for 130 dollars will work great for what you paid:P

The reason the ones on ebay are crap is because the sellers SS Autochrome for one get them cheaper than what big companies pay for. The only way the manufacturer could do that is to manufacture them in sub standard and use cheaper materials.

why does every one beleive that China is the only country that manufacture Parts now. Do you realy think that HKS would send its production to China? Japan has become world recognised for mass production of quality product. Why would they need to send production to China when its cheaper and better to do it localy.

There would be hundreds of factories pumping out cheap wastegates in China, Im sure some would have the level of quality required to meet the standards set by holset or hks. but again it doesnt mean they get the production. If it were the case all factorys would be in China.

I have a close Chiness friend. Very nice guy. his father has a Large Sheet metal press factory in mainland China, even with there low running costs cheap labour etc... they still could not compeat with production done here in NZ. They tried to win a contract but were to expensive..
At the end of the day no mater were your factory is based... when it comes to making quality parts..... its going to cost! And if its cheap it means they have cut corners on quality.
