e-bay wastegates???

ok has anyone use one of the cheap e-bay w/g. i need to get me one and i dont have big bucks to spend on one. my builder wants me to get a 50mm, so these ones that say they are 50mm, do they flow like a hks/greddy 50mm?? or should i get a bigger one like 60mm? allso the springs i heard they not very good. can you buy better springs? its for my fdrx7 with a gt35/40r. all other surporting mods done.

i did a seach in here, & the 3rd gen but found nothing.

here is one i was looking at, there are even cheaper ones out there. but this sound ok.

I strongly advise against it. A wastegate is a crucial part to a turbocharged vehicle. If it gets stuck closed, and doesn't properly open you will overboost and will have a huge repair bill. It's easily to do it properly the first time around and know the wastegate is going to function correctly. I can understand that you want to do it for cheap, but unfortunately you have to pay to play.

agree with the wastegate, i use the ebay one (50mm hks style) for a long time, until i reilize the same, works good until you start putting and mixing good parts with bad parts, so this is what i did, i use the ebay one until i get enough money or find a good deal on a real HKS 50mm, now im good and no more boost creeps, so is good for a goal and is bad in a long run, is your choice anyways
