Dyno Graph: Large port, PT67 turbo
Dyno Graph: Large port, PT67 turbo
Here is a recent dyno of one of our customers cars.
Related modifications include:
Rx7store Large Street port
PT67 turbo
Front mount intercooler
extreme fuel system
XS Power pack ignition
Full exhaust
This was at 15lbs of boost.

The dip is probably because it goes rich.
I tuned the car here and the customer put it on a dyno near his home (Canada). Not sure why it goes lean since my wideband here was mid 11's.

If it was the same person, his map was richen up a little already because of the turbo manifold changed. Also, I don't think he's running the PT67. He said that it was an innovative turbo.

Jim,
I think this is the same guy that I was suppose to tune that night when I arrived but ended up not tuning it due to the complications. He has been calling me since and asking me questions. I remembered telling him to add another 5% more fuel to be safe since he is using my manifold. So far, we have two people in Toronto with my manifold/turbo kit making over 400rwhp with ease.
Unless it is a different rob, I guess I could be wrong.....

I tuned it here, but it had a small exhaust leak on the manifold. Rob then changed the manifold and dynoed it to get HP number. Based on the dynos wideband I suggested adding some fuel up top. I guess Steve did the same.

Ha, this is an old one. Very good numbers with ONLY 15 POUNDS! I recently bought a tasty Billet PT6765. its got a ported H cover with .75/.96 AR... Ill definatly be having Jason do the tuning on it! as soon as its runnig that is (Xzavior will be taking care of that real soon). im looking for around 550 to 600 rwhp. its got a Half Bridge Port engine with RA Super seals so i hope thats in reach. Ill let ya know how that goes XLR8. Jason is a bad man when it comes to Tunning these Beasts!
I'm guessing this was a 67/68? It sure put power down like one by looking at that dyno sheet. (same posted below)
Those are STD numbers which usually are in the neighborhood of 4% higher if memory serves. The one below is SAE so in theory you could a percentage to it. Large SP engine as well. Roughly 13psi I wanna say this was in 04 as we had just moved the shop.
Keep in mind there is a pretty big difference in a 67/65 and a 67/68 both in performance and price. They put down power pretty easily but are somewhat slow to respond as you can tell be the sheets. Again I'm totally guessing but it looks a lot like 67/68's we've done here.
