Drain line question
I've been mocking things up, and before I cut a hole in my Mazdaspeed oil pan, I wanted to know if my drain line has enough of a slope to operate properly? Thanks guys!

You might get issues with oil backing up and smoking like that. Ideally you want the oil return as close to 6 o'clock as possible.

I've already rotated the housing to set the drain dead at 6:00 The drain line has angled fittings on it. Would I be better off going with a shorter line that has straight fittings?

Yes. It looks like you have plenty of room to run a straight fitting off the turbo down before you bring it over to the oil return on the front cover.
