DP and dump WG question

Has anyone had their WG dump plummed back into their exhaust? The car sounds great on the dyno but its a bit loud when getting on it on the street. How would this affect performance? There are no "flex" sections in the exhaust either. Should I worry about cracking any pipes?

i am running an hks t04r kit on my car. it comes with the hks racing 50mm wastegate plumbed back in. if you do it correctly it will not affect performance. i would use a flex section on the dump tube. the tone of the muffler changes alot when the wg is dumped back in. i prefer it

A couple years ago, I ask a few tuners about this. If the WG dump pipe is not connected in an optimum way back into the exhaust; it can cost you 5-30 HP.

This is similar to my speed3. Even though its an internal wastegate, I do like how it sounds and performs. I think im going to give it a shot. Im going to buy a cheap dp to cut on first though. lol. Thanks for the help.
