Double throttle control actuator on a single turbo
I am doing a single turbo conversion and want to know where I need to connect the vacuum line to from the unit on the side of the UIM. I believe it is called the double throttle control actuator.
Normally this would have been connect somewhere via a solenoid but these have all gone as part of my single conversion.
Please can someone tell me where I should connect it and if I need to put a one way valve in the line for it? If so is it working under vaccum or pressure?
Thank you

Really??!
Just the vac unit? and leave the butterflys in place?? I presume they will just remain open constantly?
Exactly what do these do? Sounds a bit dodgy to me!!
Cheers

Sweet dude.. Thanks for that link! I'll get on that tomorrow! I take it I should leave the bit below on with the electrcial plug on it which I assume is the idle control valve?

You can eliminate the IAC also. I eliminated mine, some of the old heads can probably tell you the pros and cons of this. Someone makes a block off plate for the double throttle or you can do the bolt and nut thing or weld the hole shut.
