HEY GUYS just wanted to know if i could use the stock intercooler im asking becasue i can get my hands on the blitz drop in intiercooler thanks

 

do you mean a stock mount intercoooler? if so yeah one will work.. like m2 or something. i wouldnt use the oem intercooler at all though.

 

I don't think the Blitz SMIC is big enough to effectively run with a single turbo. I think the M2 medium is about as small an IC as you can get away with for safe and reliable running.

 

well here is the deal.... of course u can even use the stock intercooler... however u have to realize that u will not be able to use the full potential of the single turbo... you would have to run low boost and u would prob not see any power increases... jus a diff powerband.. but it can be done if u have a good deal on a turbo and u wanna get it...

however i would recomend to upgrade the ic... now if u were just talkin buot upgrading to a smic instead of a fmic then that is also ok... as mentioned there are a quite a bit of good smic's out there... as for the blits.. ya its bigger than stock so u will be able to run more boost assuming you have everything else needed to run higher boost already upgraded but dont expect to run very high boost with that ic and a single
