difference between 87-88 and 89-91

I'm getting a 91 Turbo II and i have the engine out of my 87 and i just want it to be exactly like one out of a 91. So i was just wondering what the differences were between the two?

87-88 has mechanic oil pump, and 89-91 has electric oil pump, if your going to put in an 87 engine into a 91 you would need to change the ecu also.

87-88

has lower compression and a little bit heavier rotars, which is a good thing for some.

small wastegate that can't hold on on turbo

89-91

wastegate on the turbo is large and is more efficient working than 87-88 wastegates

higher copmression, lighter rotars.

basically to make a 87 engine have the same power is, swap the turbo.

thanks, the ecu didn't survive the accident so i'll either have to get a new one of those or rebuild the 91, but i know nothings wrong w/ my motor but the other one i THINK the seals are bad, it no longer runs but i dont know.
