id say that you should go by aggressiveness. the port size and shape has many variations. its up to the builder and how ballzy the person with the money is.

your basic ports are as follows:

stock
street port
race port
bridge port
j-bridge port
peripheral port

again, there are many variations to the ports above. these are the basic well-known ports. each builder has there own secret sauce. hehe.
