CWR kit - pressure
Is anyone running a CWR kit with a single? If so what kind of pressure are you getting. I am using a greddy gauge so I am in KG/cm2 but I can convert if you have something else.
I put in a new engine and a new turbo and the oil pressure has gone up. At idle I used to be at 1kg/cm2 but now I am at 3kg/cm2. I have seen the pressure go as high as 9kg/cm2 is this normal?
Thanks
Chris

I assume you are asking about the oil coolers rather than the IC.
Where does your oil pressure gauge pick up the pressure? If it is after the coolers (like the stock gauge), pressure will go up as pressure drop across the coolers goes down. One significant factor may be that you have cooler oil, so it will be thicker and you'll get more pressure. You also have a new oil pump (most likely), and new oil, both of which could pump up the pressure.
