custom manifold question

im planning to build a manifold because my stock turbo II manifold is getting cracked and i would like to know how how big i can use for primary tubing? is so i can use the stock S4 turbo and i was thinking using 2" like RB have in the headers but i would like another opinion. thanks

Not sure what size you should use for the stock T2 turbo but it seems to me if you are going through the trouble of makeing a manifold might as well make it for a bigger turbo.

well i dont have the money right now for a new turbo and im not planning to upgrade it and i dont want to buy another turbo II manifold and crack two days laters. what size you are using on yours?

Hey is my ECU going to work for you? I love your intercooler setup, pvc, very unique. I think most use an RB flange to start there manifold and use 2" pipes for the manifold pipes. I would think making a manifold for the stock turbo would be fairly easy due to the fact you don't have to worry about a wastegate.

My main runners are schedule 10 1.5" pipe. the pipe has a ID of 1.68 and a OD of 1.9 You can get pipe cheep at any steel yard and real nice weld els from mcmaster.com for like $4 a piece.

matlock still in the process, im havent got the sensors and the wiring for the CAS and coils but ill let you know. thanks. im gonna replace the pvc for stainless steel pipes later on.
setzep thanks ill probably get something like yours
