Nice power and tuneup. Seems like the person doing the tune have some experience.

Hey Crispeed was that 700hp made with rotors or pistons? What else did you have for fuel. how many injectors etc? trying to figure out why this pump wont flow enough.

nice numbers! That seems normal for SP motor and a T3 1.06A/R...at least for what has been posted lately.

I'm sure it's a blast to drive

Another 35R with similar numbers to 500R. Why is power not kicking in untill 4200/4400rpm's?

That's on a 13B.
Also check the voltage to the pump when under full load. How do you have the supply/feed line connected to the tank? I hope it's at least a -12.

The supply line is a -12 to the pump coming from a little custom sump at the bottom of the tank.. and then -10 feeding with an -8 return. I know the pump is rated at 40psi we have it at 65psi, wonder how much less it flows at the higher pressure. Havent checked the voltgage yet.

I run them at 40-45psi base pressure and 70 to 75psi under boost.
How long is that feed line and where exactly is the pump mounted. Those pumps must be gravity fed.
As for voltage the difference in power the pump will support approx. at 65psi is very great

At 12v/65psi = 950hp
At 13.5v/65psi = 1300hp

The pump is rated at 1100hp at 75psi running at 13.5 volts. At the same pressure but at 12 volts it's rated at 800hp.

As it should be. Sean has stated numerous times that at 15 psi you're not going to see big gains with the 500R over a 35R, that isn't the intent with the turbo.......

turboR1, nice numbers, I'm sure that your FD is very streetable with a nice powerband

Thanks. The car is perfectly streetable and the power is very smooth. I made about 30rwhp more from the SP alone without any changes at all at the same psi. actually this was with less timing and more fuel to be safe. I am shooting for 500rwhp with c16 and 25psi in a few weeks.

Heres a shot of where the pump is mounted. I have two filters, one on each side of the pump.

The supply line isn't exactly gravity feeding the pump plus that loop going forward then back is not good. That pump is probably allready damaged from air pockets.
Just for an experiment try hanging the pump lower and see if it stilll have the same problems.

Looking at that pump set-up, personaly I would fab up an fuel accumulator with walbro intank suppling your mega pump. The walbro would supply more than enough fuel volume to keep up with your larger pump with your hp goals. This set-up also would be an additional benifit to you in low fuel situations.

That's how I do it and it works perfectly. There's a lot of room under a 3rd gen.
I use the area behind the diff between the tank and the subframe to mount everything. Pump, two filters and a surge tank fits perfetly.

Yea your not kidding about the room. Currently I have my custom fabricated water injection set-up there.

Thats too much HP. I wouldn't know what to do with all that power. I like the lower 300 range But then again, i don't race.

Nah,, you can never have too much. You get used to the power very quickly and then you will want more.

Fail and Fail.

As this is your first post it indicates you didn't read any rules. As the rules serve to help increase your post count.

As you can see this thread is from SIX YEARS ago. I honestly doubt the numbers in the OP's post are even accurate. XLR8 just made 450ish on a t3 1.06 Gt35r and he had AI and 23Psi on a street ported motor.

Last of all. A GTX3071R would not be an ideal turbo choice. A T3 .82 housing is way too small for a rotary. It also has a 60mm turbine wheel. Also way to small. A GTX3071R would be good for MAYBE 375 HP on HIGH boost. After 6000RPM I imagine it would choke itself to death.
