Methanol requires roughly twice as much fuel as gasoline for the same amount of air. (I know I'll be corrected on this - I know it's a little less than twice as much) So that's approximately like four 1600ccs on gasoline.

It has 8 x 1600 injectors.
No such thing as too much fuel in a FI enviroment.

I see what you mean now.
(ie: no harm in having 8 1600cc injectors even though you might only need 1/2 that, as long as it's tuned to run at the correct air/fuel ratio)
I misunderstood it kind of.

like i commented earlier under another name that i had the same idea for a manifold like that just havent had time.but i do have one question about it since someone else has done it now.does the straight flow effect the idle in any way?is there any method to mazdas madness when they made the manifold curved the way they did?cuz i was tthinkin about runnin that type of manifold on a daily setup.and a bunch of other goodies of course.

I wonder if that uim is just a cover over a top secret uim he made and doesnt want anyone to see??? Normally once you go thru the throttle body dont you want equal length to each port not just a big open area like that. Guess it doesnt really matter as much on a forced induction car though.
All I really have to say is that it looks pretty damn sick!!!

By shortening the runner length, you shift the torque peak upwards. The plenum keeps the runners from starving for air.
Just because something is forced induction doesn't mean you can ignore the intake and exhaust manifold tuning... with an optimized setup you need less boost for the same HP (or more HP for same boost) because the engine is working more efficiently.
