Converting 93 RX7 stock TT to a single Garrett 60-1
Hi,
I am a new owner of a stock 93 RX7. I want to have a realistic price for parts and labor to switch to a single Garrett 60-1 without any internal modifications on the engine. Also, I believe I need a matching kit (exhaust manifold, blow off valve, wastegate, downpipe, oil feedline, oil drain line, U block plates, turbo pipe elbow).
With this new setup, will I notice a significant increase in performance with just a 12psi boost?

Sir Braps A lot
your going to need more mods. 1st do you have a aftermarket ecu, injectors and all the fuel set up to run a single turbo. because if not its pointless to go single. but hope you find what you want and make the power you like

Might want to search. Count on ~$12,000-$15,000 in parts. Labor, if you can find someone you trust and knows what they are doing, I have no idea. There are lots of threads detailing the cost of all the necessary parts.

I think you should wait until your motor pops than get it at least a street port before going to a larger turbo. 12 psi on a 60-1 is not really that exciting, My 60-1 seems to really come alive around 13.5 - 14 psi and up. I also have all supporting mods. I suggest you buy the pieces you need that are going to be compatable with your final design. Intercooler, fuel pumps, AST replacement, Radiator, exhaust system, fuel management system are good things to buy over time and make the car alot of fun. The final switch for me was still 10-15 k so it is no small thing you are getting yourself into.
