Compressor wheel damage
I have no idea how (or when) this happened (the filter is fine and I've never run it open) but the question now his how to fix it. It is an A-spec GT35/40. I've called a couple of shops but they say that parts are not available for this turbo. I suppose I could replace the compressor wheel myself, but it would not be correctly balanced then. Has anyone repaired one of these or know where to get it repaired?
Amazingly it built and maintained boost great in this condition, I had just noticed a little more turbo noise and decided I should take a look. Imagine the horror.
Thanks

looks like a small pebble or nut could have done that if it got in there somehow. You could replace the compressor yourself then send it out to get balanced, I think i was quoted like $65 for balancing from some shop. Look around on the net for shop that are near you that can rebalance it for cheep
