compressor surge

compressor surge

how do i know i am experencing it and what does it sound/feel like on a car......I have a t70 and i have what i can only describe as a hesitation at about 13 psi then it clears up ia have tried taking out fuel on the map and it makes no difference.....HELP....don't wanna blow my motor

compressor surge should not be happening while accelerating. it will happen if you don't have a large enough bov to support the volume of air going thru when you let off the throttle. even then, you don't "fee" it, just hear a really awesome air getting chopped up sound. lol

I LOVE COMPRESSOR SURGE!

either way, you may have a boost controller/ wastegate issue

ok so if i accelerate i would not feel or hear compressor surge...ie i am hitting the surge line on the compressor map.
