What is the diffrence between a .50 and .60 comp housing on a turbo???.Will a .60 comp housing move more air or is it the impellar size that does it?

Last question,please!,what is the best a/r exhaust housing(.86,.96,1.oo etc.) on s5 13bt engine.Will only be driven on weekends,not a daily driver,looking for 200 rwkw!!!.Any sugestions on porting,ecu,injection side etc.

HI! .50-.60 you wouldnt notice the difference in comp. cover. yeah the wheel makes alot of difference, you can fit a bigger wheel in a .60, have more diffuser area. turbine hsg. general opinion for street use , .96A/R now you are talking a P-wheel right. seems to work good for those 4th gear pulls, starting at 60mph ,by the time the big turbo guy has shifted down and came back on boost your gone! you know, street stuff, you always running out of road or into traffic. I havent yet to see someone go 25lbs. boost for 15 minutes on an interstate in the middle of the night. with a rotary! 200wkw whats that about 300whp

THANKS again

The difference in A/R's on compressor covers is designed for surge on the diesels. Smaller A/R and shorter snouts give you a better exit velocity from the compressor cover. This is done for some of the smaller diesel engines that need alot of air at relatively low rpms to clean up emissions (ala smoke). It will have some effect on a gas engine but the difference between the 2 your are discussing is minimal.
