Uhm, uh guys, why was that engine running with no coolant?
I have no problem running an engine for a couple of minutes with no waterpump belt or radiator or whatever, as long as the block is full of coolant which will still absorb quite a bit of heat. What is going to absorb the heat created during that runtime, though short? I see no way to fill the block with coolant, so I assume there was none...
Looks and sounds awesome other than that Brian always does a great job on his porting and building.

I've been following this thread for a while and I must say, WOW! I wish I had that! But I gotta ask you, do you have the water pump belt installed correct? IT looks like you have it routed outside the water pump pulley instead of inside. If it is wrong, is that a big deal? Water flowing in the opposite direction?

Hey guys, thanks for all the compliments again...
Had it tuned and dynoed in the spring.
She put down about 470whp at 18.5psi on race gas. It was a conservative tune by BDC as well.
We actually had to adjust some things on my boost controller to not allow the boost to come on so quick...this thing built boost CRAZY fast, almost too fast for the data logs to keep up.
Justin's manifold is awesome, I love it! Thanks to his hard work and engineering the design, my motor can breath like its meant to.
Here you can check out some pics and vids.

A good friend of mine is a ceramic coater, and he tells me that the cerama-chrome he offers isn't ideal for exhaust components because it tends to yellow over the course of a few months, and always recommends his cerama-black for manifolds, turbines and downpipes. Here are the temp ratings for his coatings:
<<We have three kinds of Ceramic Coating available in order to offer thermal protection for all applications:
Cerama-Chrome: a Chrome Like Finish with 1600 Degree Finish Protection.
Cerama-Gray: a Flat Gray Finish with 2000 Degree Finish Protection.
Cerama-Black: a Flat Black Finish with 3600 Degree Finish Protection.>>
