clearance problem with t78 and knightsport hood?

hey, guys
I have my t78 turbo in and im almost at the point where i am gonna put my intercooler piping on, but from the looks of it, it doesnt look like the piping that come off the turbo that was supplyed with the greddy turbo is gonna fit? I have the knightsport hood. im not sure if it gives less clearance then the stock hood, but it doesnt even look like it would fit with stock one. Does anyone have any clearance issues with there t78 kit and the hood?

Adam,
You can adjust the housing on the T-78. You will need to turn it to the left and closer to the frame of the car. That will allow the intercooler pipes to fit with the hood down.

Make sure you put the housing back on flat. If not then the o-ring wont seal properly. Its a pain in the *** to do it by yourself. get someone to hold the housing flat and push it towards the turbine housing while you tighten up the clamp. Just telling you if you didnt already know.

There is some lag, but I dont mind it. Just need to be in the right gear.

I have a custom elbow on my T78 setup and I did have to "clearance" for the Knightsports hood by cutting into it at the right spot.
