Can you feel knock???!!

Well I got my T04R and I have a problem, I finally got the car running last night and I took it out for a test run and when the turbo starts to spool up, I hear and feel this knock, almost at me feet, its kinda like a quick double tap. My knock readings go up to about 110-120. I tried a few different .dat files and it doesn't really change and my A/F is in the mid 11's, boosting .70bar.

Exclamation

You are playing with disaster until you figure the cause.

First check to insure the ignition cables are correctly set up.
Top plug is trailing. Bottom plug is leading.

Then insure that the ignition coil connectors are correctly installed.

White = #1 trailing, coil towards the front
Black = 1&2 leading (center coil)
Blue = #2 trailing, coil towards to firewall

I will triple check, but I labeled the wires before I removed them, thanks for the info. I forgot to mention that it really only did it in 3rd.

i also have been getting a high knock. i seen 163 the other day and almost 200 one time. this is on the pfc commander. but if i install my datalogit, and do full boost pulls i dont see knock over 20. is this in between shift knock. and why only mostly on the commander?

You could have a loose drivetrain, and while under light on/off driving the slack in it causes the noise. Mine use to do that until my rebuilt transmission was installed.

Trans oil should be thicker and smells much worse them motor oil. Is most likely engine oil but you should check your Trans fluid level to be on the safe side.

Yes the oil in your bell housing can eventually hurt your clutch
