You can run it fine under 13-14psi.. after that you might as well not even run it.. there are pluses and minus's to each.. Plus is no ic lag.. boost comes on much faster than with a fmic.. however the air is hotter.. Not insanely hot, still safe.. Anyone who wants to argue with this.. please be my guest and call cam down at pettit.. he has setup a few cars like that.

yeah but most people dont like to rig their cars
I say you cant do t78 on stock intercooler at any boost level
the stock intercooler is hardly good enough for the twins

Actually the Stock twins would create much more heat then the larger T-78 would at the same boost. I would run it for a limited time. There is no point running it until you can tune it with the right intercooler. Otherwise you will have to tune it twice. If you need the car just to drive to work and back or to the shop and back go ahead and hook it up. The only thing is you will probably need some custom pipes to fit it. Might as well wait so you can do the pipes once and tune it once. Otherwise its safe enough. You can check intake manifold temps with a power FC commander and see what you are working with if thats your EMS.
