Can a Greddy T 78 be rebuilt??

Ive been doing some searching, and noticed that everyone will rebuild a garrett turbo, but have not had any luck finding someone who could rebuilt the T78 turbo that i have, it is gonna have to have a new compressor, and turbine wheel.. Am i better off buying a new one, and if i have to buy a new one, who sells just the turbo? Any info will be greatly appreciated

I had Majestic Turbo rebuild a Greddy t-88. It was about $400 and turned around in two weeks.

Majestic rebuilt my friends T78 with a larger compressor wheel (72.5mm) and clipped the exhaust wheel.

They do a great job.

Any of the places I've ever talked to use Garrett parts and machine the housing to get them to fit, because it's costly and hard to get Trust/Mitsubishi spec parts.

On the site www.turbochargers.com if you look at the bottom of the page they claim to be an Greddy Authorized Repair Center.

I pretty sure my t78 was rebuilt with a larger Garret wheel, boosts comes on right away, no more lag. Of course the turbo is now on a 20B.
