Budget turbo help

I'm having all kinds of issues with my ht18 turbo. Need help badly.

The piston ring seal groove is worn out of spec & allowing oil to pass through. Does anyone know where /who I can buy a new turbine shaft and compressor wheel? I have the measurements writing down someplace. Preferably balanced since I don't have anyone locally to balance the wheels.

Secondly I still need help making a oil drain return line. Stock s5 manifold. I what are people with the stock manifold using? Why can I not find anything when I search for something that came stock on these cars .

Someone please help me out, I feel like I'm on a damn island trying to fix my Rx7.

Sorry to bitch, this will mark the 8th year I have owned it and have only been able to drive it less then half that period. I just want to drive a car that isn't a non running joke that consumes all my time money and patience.

I have a s4 13bt engine with a s5 turbo setup. The oil return line is the s4t2 oil return. I forgot what the others are.

Right now I am going to go with the bnr turbo upgrade. He is selling the turbos with new shafts, bearing housings. He also does stock rebuilds. I have 2 stock turbo shafts that might or might not be good to use.

These turbos are getting old and I have been through 3 turbos already. I was going to do a complete upgrade, but decided to give bnr a try. Bang for buck if everything works out.

I know someone with a used s5 t2 turbo that came off a low mileage jdm engine also. I think he wants $200 for it

First off, i assume you're running a series 5 turbo. Are you on a series 4 block/front cover or series 5 block/front cover? Lemme know i may be able to help you out with a free oil drain tube.

As for the replacement i believe you want to just get the new CHRA. You could call Bryan @ BNR and see what he suggests or majestic turbo (google it) in TX and they could help you with what you need to replace.

if you use a factory oil drain, you will also need the short adapter from front cover to drain line. S4 and S5 have different versions of these adapters too, as well as the line itself

or you could just make your own line using these.. you will have to drill out the holes a little larger to fit the front cover

nobody makes new factory turbo wheels. you can always have your housings machined for different wheels, but that will cost you about $100 per housing. if you want to go this route, there is a good thread in 2nd gen section on how to build a hybrid yourself, cheaper than BNR

S4 and S5 turbine shafts are all the same, try checking around for someone with a low mileage wheel and use that. there is also a few aftermarket garrett style wheels that are close that will work and run in the $150 range.
