Boost falling off above 6500rpm???

Boost falling off above 6500rpm???
Experiencing boost falling a psi or two above 6500rpm to redline and curious to get opinions.
Running a T66 1.0 A/R p-trim on a cast mani with HKS race wg plumbed into the dp, boosting 17-19 psi on a street port. The boost has the same response on the wg spring as well as the two electronic boost controller I have run (SBC id is the latest).
I suspect it's related to backpressure at the manifold opening the wg ... thinking about plumbing the wg to atm for a test.
Any other ideas?
