Boost Control/monitoring on a Single Turbo FD
Does anyone know of any writeups or install videos for a 3 port boost solenoid, new map sensor, and boost gauge? I have an older adaptronic select series 6 with an updated board. I just want to make sure everything is hooked up and setup properly.
Like what vacuum ports to use, how to set up the new map sensor and boost gauge to the adaptronic, and the preferred method to plumb the 3 port boost solenoid. I saw another thread recently with a couple variations and it looks like 2.2 method is the one to use, but how is it wired and setup in the adaptronic etc....
I am new to FD's and have only owned this one for a week now but i want to make sure i do things right the first time.
P.s. don't worry about the headlight lid, I already have an oem replacement.

A boost gauge is setup independent of the the ecu. The 3 port mac valve can be wired directly to the ecu to use the built in boost control software. One side should be wired to 12+V switched( and obviously fused), and the other goes to any unused AUX output( PWM) on the ecu. Open the software and look at the AUX output page to figure this out, it will also take you do the wiring guide. Map sensor just gets wired up to the OEM location if you are using a 4 bar external sensor, and not the 4 bar internal. You will have to enter the 4 bar calibration into the map sensor section of the software.
