for the cheaper folks, Ari, Steve and other people I know (different cars) has ran over 30psi with greddy profec B. Check your turbo for leaks or damage.

Im going to try the autronic solenoid which is exactly like the one Allen posted and exactly the type of solenoid TBC world electronic uses but charges 10x more.
Exhaust manifold back pressure and the wastegate valve surface area are two variables that are sometimes over looked.

A few simple options are.

- Use a stiffer wastegate spring

- Restrict the side port signal to the wastegate with a manual type of boost controller, and use your Autronic solenoid to control the pressure to the top port.

- Weld the wastegate shut.

I would start with the third option first.

I've found that welding the wastegate shut along with vicegrips on the return fuel line is the quickest way to big power.

Profec B's are good to about 27-32psi. There are a couple of tricks to get higher boost but it also becomes very unstable. The Type S was a lot better but Greddy discontinued those!

Low boost on the fuel you're running!

Could not get enough boost today. Only 43psi! Had an extra TiAL inner blue spring laying around. Cut it in half and placed it on top of the original blue spring. Now 52psi from 6500 to 9500rpm!
All that with just a simple air compressor regulator valve from Home Depot!:

Well, I originally didn't have a wastegate..... but I decided to install one because it looked cool. A little dead weight won't hurt, right?

Just curious, is this like the one you're using?

That's to regulate flow.

This is to regulate pressure.
