Question Blitz FMIC and a Single?

How large of a Single Turbo can the Blitz FMIC operate? Also since Blitz does not make a Single Turbo I/C Pipe, has anyone ever had one custom made? I am going Single this winter and just want to get everything in order tht I will need. So far I am getting:

1. Single Turbo Kit: T78, GT35/40, or T04S. Still have not made a decision yet.
2. Greddy Profec B
3. 850cc Primaries and 1300cc Secondaries.

Anything else needed to make a single work? I know I will ahve to also have my car re-tuned but I just want to have all my parts here waiting on me. My mods are posted below.

I have a Blitz fmic, but run non-seq modified stock turbos. Even in Houston summer temps, with my fans set manually on or with the AC going, this IC really cools down the charge. Even on a dyno with the fans going, it still cools great! It is about 2.5 times the size of the Greddy SMIC which is about twice the size of a stock IC.

I love my Blitz!

Hey Jason, I sent you an email about a single setup and what all you thought I would need and how much it all would cost. Have you got around to that yet? Also, is it true that the Greddy T78 and T88 require custom welding around the LIM to install them? I am planning on doing the swap myself so I would like to have as easy a time as possible. Thanks.

Also does anyone have any clue on how I would get a custom pipe made to fit a single since Blitz does not offer one? Scott

Im going through my emails now. Did you send it this weekend?

You will need to either shave a section off the lower intake manifold or put a dent in the downpipe for it to fit around the opening to the EGR valve. Otherwise its a easy install.

I think I sent it out Thursday night. I am not sure though. So I would have to dent the DP? Why don;t they already come with the dent if it is necessary to fit? Is it due to emissions differences between Japan and US? Thanks

Get a pulley kit also. It will make it much easier, than trying to find a ribbed belt that will work after the air pump is removed.
